About MER

Medical Education Resources (MER) is a non-profit company located in Englewood, Colorado, a suburb of Denver. The company was incorporated in 1983 and its sole mission is to provide medical education for members of the medical community.

MER is also accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation.

Additionally, MER is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.

MER sponsors conferences on numerous medical topics and holds more than three hundred annual CME programs on both national and international levels. Annually, over 80,000 physicians (primary care physicians and specialists) and more than 10,000 nurses and pharmacists participate in one of our programs.

We jointly provide CE activities with medical institutions and organizations such as the National Stroke Association, the National Pain Society, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and a number of other national medical organizations. We also work with organizations such as the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Emergency Physicians on program accreditation for their members. Furthermore, we work with renowned physicians from both academia and clinical practice throughout the United States and in several foreign countries.

MER currently sponsors ten conference series for primary care physicians and receives no commercial support for these conferences.
